Every good story has a beginning… and ours started with a little wooden boat.

The dory has long been part of life along Newfoundland’s shores. Simple, sturdy, and full of character.

When it came time to name this little inn in Norris Point, there had to be something that spoke to this place, its history, and the beautiful landscape around us.

And so, The Red Dory Inn was born.

A little red boat, the mountains of Gros Morne, and the water that connects it all.
